Thank You

Today, I'm feeling grateful. What a journey it has been!! From a cynic, to a cautious pessimist to a guarded optimist and the road hasn't been exactly rosy. I'm grateful for the thorns. Grateful, for what I am, what I have, what I haven't, what I've been, what I've been through, what I've lost, what I've gained, my friends, parents, acquaintances and colleagues. What? No, I'm not from Betelguese. I'm not an out-of-work actor. I am not Ford Prefect. Still, the humanity seems to be mostly harmless to me.

I'm grateful just because whenever I feel grateful, with nothing in particular to attribute that gratefulness to, I feel peaceful and I'm grateful for that peace, which in turn... well, you get the benign circle.

Never knew the link ScreenAct directs me to another blog of yours. Just one question, when you say the posts were originally written for LJ (or some other as I noticed in another post here), what does it mean? What is LJ?

By the way, your writing is impressive. Partly cos it just never occurred to me that movie reviewers were capable of writing personal cogitations, not triggered by movies or other (public) stimuli.

Anyhow, I'd love to see more of this stuff.
Cheers.

LiveJournal!

Yeah.. that's Livejournal. I'm planning on closing down that account & I'm just picking the posts that I think don't disgrace ScreenAct. I thought of having a single URL and converging my movie & non-movie rambles at one point, but many have advised me against it. That is why ScreenArt continues to be a speciality.

It's nice to know that I have a few regular readers; thanks much Shreeja. Web 2.0 is about collaboration - so, if you have a blog, let me know about it.

Dear PV,
you're most welcome.
My efforts to blog have been relatively futile, in part because I get bored seeing my own work after awhile. And in large part because I realise that over time the objective of writing gets somewhat ambiguous as I am more keen on pleasing or impressing others with my writing. And I loathe that. If any of that changes in the near future, I'll let you know :)
